I was using the High Pass method to sharpen an image at a resent talk when I was told of a brilliant way it could be used to produce a Glossy Black and White. The results were are amazing and you can add tones to the image.
It works with many different styles of pictures and is easy to follow in all version of Photoshop including Elements
