 Recording an Action to create a Spatter style border

 I was asked if it was possible to make an image look like a curled photograp. In this video we take a look at how this effect can be created.

The way we present our pictures can make all the difference and sometimes it is worth trying something a little bit more unusual. Taking the image that we created in the downloadable video  ‘Grungy Text effect‘ we look at adding a reflection style border.

It’s really simple and great fun to use. You can create many different border effects, saving them as Custom Shapes that can be used over and over again. They can also be customised using Layer Styles

 Frames and borders There are many different ways that we can add frames and borders to present our images. In this video we explore some slightly different ways that this can be done

 Clear Frame The idea for this video came from a photographer I know in US.  It adds a great look to the image and is fully adjustable for  style,size and colours.

Border effect In this video we take a  look at how we can created brushes from images. These brushes can then be made into frames and borders ideal for a grunge effect look and can work with many different styles of images

A Vignette can be used in different ways, as a frame/ border or as a subtle way of holding the viewers attention ‘in’ the picture.Video 1
