For colours and tones, I use to love results Velvia film the tonal range it produced is amazing. Trying to get the same type of rich tones from your digital image using Hue/Sat or Viberance adjustment layers doesn’t get close, but changing the color mode from RGB to Lab mode opens up new possibilities.

In this video we explore how we can give colours a real glow producing richer colours and tones.
