DIY HDR – Blending Exposure In this two part video we take a look at how we can use 3 handheld images at different exposures to produce an HDR image. Starting in Bridge we start look at how we can open the Raw files into Photoshop in layers. Blending them together and using masks we can create an HDR image but using this method we have complete control of the different exposures. Toned and Darken style image. In this video we take a look at how we can transform an image taken in daylight into a toned and darken style image. The image is completely adjustable on all layers allowing you to change the tones and lighting at any time
This is a great way to improve tones and depth of colour to your images. In the first part of the video we look at improving the detail in both the shadows and highlights, using the spot healing brush (content aware) to remove distractions before improve the tonal range of the image. Later in the video we see how the same technique can be used on other image.
